A couple of months after I got clean I was doing yoga. I've been doing it for years. Anyway I was doing yoga and it was a tough session. I was in a pose looking up at my hand and felt unbelievably good. Almost blissful. And the thought came. This is better than dope. And I knew I would be OK. I still think about it everyfuckingday. Some days just a little. Today alot. Hold in your heart the moment when you knew you couldn't do it anymore, couldn't live like that, and dismiss the memories of when it was good. They are the delusion, the reality is where it took us in the end. Hang in there.
