RIU was pretty great. In Playa del Carmen, they have four of them, one of which is not on the beach. We were going to stay at the one across the street away from the beach, but I'm glad we didn't. The sewer ran right along the sidewalk in front of it, so there was always that smell, you know? Besides, I was elated to be a 1 minute walk from the beach.
