It's amazing how many Scots descended people in the US wear their tartans. I'm of Scots descent, but am very much thinned by generations of English blood now! My kilt has long been relegated to the cupboard, as it's a bit of an embarrassing joke to be caught wearing one with an English accent. The Scots always joke that if you get a group of kilt wearers, it must be an English wedding.
