I have returned...high adventure indeed.
Must pack ... heading to Haiti on thursday to film documentaries and stitch up babies...I shall return on the 19th, provided I am allowed back in the country. Wish me luck.

Glad you like the drawings...All are pen and ink except for the first one...which is in pencil. I drew that one the first time I dropped acid. I was so pleased with the results afterwords that I didn't dare go over it in ink sober for fear of losing the feel of the piece. I have others (mainly illustrated limericks) that I will put up, but all that stuff is already packed up for my move (along with my scanner). I'll post them after I get all settled and unpacked (sometime towards the middle of July).
I find it funny that so many good aquariums are in land-locked areas...If you ever get to the Bay Area, however, you need to see the Monterey Bay Aquarium. It is unbelievable.

Hooray that the summer time is here, now I can read some books for fun. Currrently I am going through Lolita, The Once and Future King and i just bought Phil Dick's Time Out of Joint supposedly of which The Matrix is a rip, but we shall see, we shall see...

I'll have to check out that PDK book. Have not read that one. As for the Matrix, it was taken from many books including, loosly based on the philosophy of "Simulacra and Simulation" by Jean Baudrillard which states there are no originals in the world, everything is just a copy of a copy of a copy. (this book makes a cameo appearence in the Matrix as well!)

Baudrillard's book shows up in the first Matrtix near the beginning when the people show up to his (Neo's) apartment for software and he goes to the bookshelf and opens up "Simulacra and Simulation" which is where he hides his 'illegal' software...
