Okay this is fun and easy, but I must also say these are mac instructions, it might be the same if you have a PC, but I'm not sure. In order to post a pic into your journal it needs to be on a website, so if you want to post one of your personal pics just add it to your pics folder on this web site, then open just the picture in a new window. To do that with a mac you hold down your mouse button and then a list of options comes up and you pic the opropriate one. Now that your pic has a window all to it's lonesome, copy the url at the top of the screen. As you are writing your journal click image, paste your url, and wala! Pictures in your journal, la la la la la

If you've got a picture on your computer, you've got to put it on a computer that has the ability to serve up the picture online, if you'd like to include it in posts. There are two ways to do this -- you can upload it to your SG pics album, and then copy and paste that url when you go to post it. Or, you can sign up for a service that does free file hosting. I use geocities, which is cheesy, but it's free and it works. If you want more details on either, let me know, glad to help.
