LA is about 3000 miles or 4800 kilometers (for you metric types) from me, so we won't be meeting for coffee.

I know what you mean, I found the job very rewarding and also got to see a lot of this wonderful country, I have also managed to maintain a lot of the skills I learned during my time in the army, as they have a practical application in the civilian world which is why I joined the medical corp in the first place.

I'm quite lucky in terms of dreams, i always know when i'm dreaming. Dream therefore never seem real (on the other hand occasionally reality seems like a dream) I know that i'm dreaming, so i can control aspects of the dreams (never the characters in them) I used to have a dream where i was being chased by something and felt like i was running in water, so now i fly instead. I had a dream a bigfoot type creature was chasing me and i was terrified, but the more i thought about it, the more i wanted to know why he was, so i turned around and chased him for a bit.

Dreams and nightmares are inseperable for me, but i see them as the best playground ever.

I don't remember my dreams. Thus, I don't have nightmares. I hope yours go away. Too bad about the dog idea.

I had a feeling that was the case with your roommate... I don't think you would have picked someone like that to live with willingly.

I'd definitely recommend a day in Vegas for your trip. You can't travel out all this way and not stop by there at least for a little bit.

I love that quote....I was just talking to someone about the first kisses in a relationship....and how amazing they are....and the anticipation that begins when you realize you're going to kiss, but it hasn't happened yet....YUM!

See its just goofy, cause people ASSUME you have one or that your phone can accept pictures. In one week, I've had 4 people try to send my phone pictures instead of calling me and telling me whats up.

i know a girl who wanted to get out of the Navy so she had to pretend that she was crazy. and of course she really is crazy anyway, but she had to exaggerate it in order to get discharged. of course, for this, she got no money.

Two antennas met on a roftop, fell in love, and got married. The ceremony wasn't much but the reception was brilliant.

here's a story for you. a few months ago, a friend drove me home after a night of drinking. i was shitfaced but wired. he was sober but tired. he fell asleep on my couch, so i put lighter fluid on his shoe and lit it on fire. since then, all of our friends refuse to crash at my apartment.

By the way I like the new profile pic. I'm glad to hear that things are starting to get better....even though the journey is slow.

I'll probably start teaching around that time... whether it will be an actual teaching position or just subbing I don't know yet. If I'm subbing, I can make my own schedule. If I'm teaching, I'm sure I can work something out. There is no way I'd miss your visit.

I actually scheduled a doctor's appointment for something else last week before the tingling started, so I'll be bringing it up.

i know what you go through. maybe some critical stress debreifing is in order. maybe just a little more than you already had. i have been a paramedic for almost a year and have had an ass load of codes and have not gotten anyone back. none of my patients tend to survive. i think i have the dark touch.

I hope you are ok.
