Looking forward to the remainder of the week, even the hell that will be one of the final band practices.

I did get some exciting news today that I'll be joining many other talented photographers in Australia in shooting Splendour In The Grass in July, which will be massive. So I'm looking forward to that!

Here's a quick shot from the weekend. I've been enjoying...

Tomorrow is already looking like hell.

6am - Drive to Agnes Water to film the Miss Teen Australia workshop
4pm - Drive back to Gladstone
6pm - Arrive in Gladstone, then drive to the venue and set up my gear with no soundcheck for a gig.
7pm - Play 2 sets with the band.

I was finally able to see Us last night, certainly a great film. Just sad that films like that aren't massive in my small town, there was only myself and one other person in the theatre for it.

But then again, I decided to watch the latest Lego movie straight after and was completely alone. It was a school night for most though.

There's a...

@chroi I only just say the trailer for The Dead Don't Die, looks interesting. I slept in after work today and missed Fighting With My Family, so that'll be a tomorrow one I think.

One of the first things I've done since returning is deleting old blog posts that felt super cringe. Even writing this now, I know the 2024 version of myself will go "ergh, delete" when he rereads this.

April is a little disappointing for me in terms of music photography. It's the only month where I'm not shooting a festival for the time being. The last...

So, I started back at the gym the other day. Somehow, through living life generally, I got to a place I didn't want to be... 140kg (or 308lb, if you're elsewhere in the world). Which, even for me was a bit much. However, just through more focus and detoxing from most social media (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter are all removed from the phone), I've found myself...

Great job.  I found laying off booze/beer helps so much.  The older u get the less your body metabolizes alcohol.  Good luck..

So after a few years away, I decided to reactivate my account. For the past few months, I've been thrown into a weird world of photography adventures. Bands, drones, models, etc. Figured I'd find a spot to spew the shit my brain wants to say out, so, here I am. Again.

I miss this website. Just spent a few hours going through sets from a few years ago, catching up on everything. Haha. So once that's up to date, i"ll probably get into the groups.

I'm still trying to get into band photography, but every time there is an event on here in my small town, the people running the show never get back to me...

The best part about being in a band: playing shows
The worst part about being in a band: traveling to them

I'll be honest... I've thought about life and death a fair bit (as anyone would have). I've had a near death experience before and though it inspired me to start tattooing affirmations on my body, it never stopped me thinking about what happens when we go into the light (which I didn't see, I only saw darkness... Maybe I was going to Hell? Haha)

The...
