Well, the pictures are up... The ever-wonderful Su graced the state w/ his presence on Friday and I was smart enough to bring my camera. biggrin SmokeyDaBear hosted myself and LittleSister on his turf for sushi and bowling alley karaoke. Hopefully Gumbercules can attend and be talked to w/o yelling over music.

It seems as if I may have days off (plural) this week... There's a...

Ah work... *huge wet sigh* The adage "If you don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything at all" comes to mind. Horrible, no good, very bad day... Granted, I didn't go to bed w/ gum in my mouth and wake up w/ gum in my hair but it wouldn't have been too out of place. After 12 hours of such fun at work...

I was flitting about, checking on the lives of others and thought I'd stop & give an official posting...

Today is a very poor spelling day. I'm having some sort of corollary block from lack of sleep, soreness of muscles used in yesterday's move and dehydration. My movement aware self tries to tell me that my posture in typing at a shitty particle board ready-to-assemble...

Well hello strangers! Hope your weekends worked out well; the marked absence of work and other such nuisances of a good time. wink

Tomorrow I spend my day aiding alienprincess' sister moving from outside of Storrs to Hamden. She now owes the two us for something like 3-5 moves over the past couple of years. She hasn't a strange bedouin existence, just eager to settle...

Working with firends was definately a mistake but hopefully the firendship will be repaired someday. All in all its a good thing. Just stressful trying to be the provider type guy for the wife and kid with no job.

I'm never surprised at the variety of ways real life has the ability to suck you back into it. whatever The good news is I'm still alive though I haven't updated in what seems like weeks...more like 2-3 days. My relative busy-ness has leveled off over the past few days. Not as globally uncomfortable as it once was but at times, still as obnoxious. If at...

oh my goodness, those books sound amazing! thank you for typing/linking all of that - it was awesome. now i must follow up in my happy, snappy library. i have limited myself to only buying books i cannot check out, which makes my book grubbing heart a bit sad, to be truthful. eventually i will own all the ones i really want, but still.

i hope your dad is doing well! kiss

In other news, there's a daring commentary in The Onion today. biggrin

I find myself today watching The Shipping News remebering how when I'd read the book, I'd rediscovered my knot fetish. Not a binding or tying fetish, I just like knots....quite boring really. I ransacked my car looking looking for coarse twine, something to braid, tie. No such luck. Some senses tell me it's leftovers...

I have a day off tomorrow! *gasp leveled at window-vibrating* I was sure that I'd have to make some sort of appearance but, no, I don't. surreal Rather than paperwork shuffling and order barking, I can relax, breathe deep and knock out laundry. I had an inpromptu cell-huddle w/ AmazonRed13 and she suggests the New Haven crew should take in a movie. Perhaps Before Sunset?...

Ugh...hangover, bad. I went out celebrate the b-day of a friend of AmazonRed13 and by the end of it I was thankful the bar was within walking distance from home. I'm rehydrating like a motherfucker and squinting at this text isn't helping my low-level brain throb.

This week has been work, work and more work... Part of my job consists of doling out medication to...

A quick couple of thoughts for Poetry Day...this week's entry is about a dream from my mid-west experiences. 1) I may actually have a day off this week that doesn't require me spending at least a couple of hours attending to everyone's needs but my own. 2) Computer fixing and nit-picking is coming along at a far faster pace than I orginally, gloomily thought. 3)...

ahhhh, too many humans actively like nitwits? so sorry, my dear - hopefully they will get their act together soon. otherwise, make them eat the jello with forks! because jello is terrifying - and if you add forks, also maddening. eeek

and ap is ap and did the hair chop? yummersXinfinity. you guys make me so happy. biggrin love

as ever, delicious verse. favorite part? "dead somehow" ~ that light touch upon mortality that makes it all the more grave. i can almost her a spirit contemplating such things with a quiet resolution that reverberates through so many considerations.

and pictures? oh, i would thrill to such things.

Hello friends! Long time, no talk. The primary reason was my computer seized, choked and died... Nothing incredibly devistating but, I lost 20-30 gigs of pictures, keepsakes and the like. My digitized music collection including remastered material of my own have left the building, as well. Everything is up and running after a re-format and reinstall of XP Pro. To say I learned my lesson...

Again, happy poetry day wishes...and stuff! Further down the way I've posted two entries, mine and one by a guitarist named Adrian Legg. I've been enjoying wonderful lazy days away from work - checking cookbooks, movies and music from the library; sleeping in late and waking to songbirds or garbage men, depending on the morning.

Today I'll revel in my last bits of freedom before...
