So how dead does this place get on a Sunday night?

Have an odd talk about jungle drugs to listen to.

Yeah..I dunno. Personally I'm a bit more tired than usual from having to get up relatively early for work, but Sunday evenings are one of my biggest blocks of free time all week. Comes, I suppose, from not buying in to these religion and family concepts. (well, I'd probably spend time with my family if any of them were within a hundred miles of me.)
erich:
You wouldn't think. but this site just dies on a sunday.

Go figure...

Actively avoiding songwriting, and masturbating. It's been established that I don't do much else.

Jesus, I ache. Two TV-related phone conferences, a ton of email exchanged between agents and producers, notes taken by the stack -- and you know that nothing's going to come of any of it, because Hollywood is bullshit.

I'm going to be up all goddamn night, and my neck is killing me.

This is the closest thing to an update I'm managing this side of...

Someone told me the wheels of Hollywood turn slower than the wheels of Law.

Which surpised me to hear, becuase I'm still being sued for 3 mil by a bunch of ambulance chasing nephew-fuckers for something that happend (and was originally resolved) FIVE YEARS AGO. mad

Well, best of luck w/ your hollywood dealings anyway, wether it be bullshit or not.
direchocobo:
Hmm, too bad about the Hollywood dealings. In a way, it makes me glad I'm just a little peopn who can't even crap out a simple webcomic. Those Hollywood types aren't my kind of folks.

Ah, I could rant for hours...

This is an old short story of mine: hope you haven't all seen it before...

Love Will Kill Us All

I remember you all.

Nicola Jane in Hyde Park summer, all in white, long blonde mane and pale blue eyes, every inch reflecting light, laughing at me dressed all in black. We didn't look right together, but we were. Waiting for you at night outside...

You know those Urban Legends people? Where someone tells you a story about someone they've heard about, and you say, bullshit, that's an urban legend? I've met most of those people. I was listening to an old Terence McKenna lecture earlier tonight, and I was reminded of one of them.

Back in '87, pre-rave culture, there wasn't a lot of acid in my area, and...

Hey Warren, just wanted to say I loved issue #1 of Fell. To be honest, I only heard about you recently, and that was just cause ChrisSick kept going on about you.

So I see Fell, written by the guy that Chris loves, and it's only $4 AUS (regular titles are usually more like $5.60 AUS), so I think 'what the hey', and picked it up.

A great story, but I also loved the sentiment of it. A purposely cheap, budget title. It has a great aesthetic. Really looking forward to #2.

That is all. Thank you.
boundcreature:
the cover to FELL #2 is fucking gorgeous. the interiors remind me of LAZARUS CHURCHYARD.

Hitler enjoyed marathon foreplay sessions with his long term girlfriend Ava Braun. He particularly enjoyed it when she stuck a couple of fingers up his arse whilst sucking on his ball.

Huh. You'd think there'd be a reply button on the comments left in the journal, instead of just "add a comment" at the bottom... this is therefore going to be a bit more one-way than I expected...

You know what I miss? Flying saucers. They went away (as did the Bible country version, "angel sightings"). They seem to pop up at weird cultural stress points...

Interesting thing...

The symptoms of having been struck by lightning are almost identical to those reported by abductees...

The bright light, the loss of time, etc...

And how about all those little bits of metal people seem to find in ther bodies?

Something akin to electroplating?

So why no alien/angels lately? Too many real problems maybe? Haven't these cycles matched prosperous times? The 50s? The 90s?

Hmmmmm... If I cared more I'd do real research.

And i heard once that Ketamine was responsible for a lot of UFO encounters in the US... encounters with Witches here for some reason... can't remember the source though.

Well, someone just bought me a three-month gift account. So let's have a poke around and see how this thing works...
