Life throws so many unexpected things at us when we are walking thru it's valleys.
We deal with, adapat, learn to live with, then move on.
Then these things either go away, or linger like some rotten disease that we can never truly irradiate from our system, but we have learned to live with and ignore the pain.

So I finally got enough money together to get my car tire fixed and towed to a shop that will repair the engine. 65 bones for the tire 48bones for the tow. Not too shabby. The good new is that my engine is belt driven (not chain driven like the moron at BelleTire said) making the repair a big job but no where near as...

Well I am over the initial devestating explosion of stress that occurs whenever my car breaks down and leaves me in a bind. I had my time curled up in a ball under my covers in my heated bed trying to sleep with a splitting headache.
It's funny that this only happens to me when my vehicle breaks down. Other things that most people view...

When it rains it pours. The weekend at the Motor City Tattoo Convention was great fun. Got to meet people and see friends I haven't seen in a while. Great inspirations for tattoos just art in general. Had a blast (sleep deprivation and all) and really was sad that it seemed so short. Thank you to everyone who made it a good time.
So now...

Hell, it's not like I have anything better to do. Besides, I might get a few ideas there.

I just watched the movie "Saw".
Now don't get me wrong.
The movie was not the best picture of all times.
But I did apprecaite the poignent point that is the undercurrent of the film.
So few people apprieciate what they really have.
Seriously.
Think about that for one minute.
Do you really appreciate everything that you "have"in your life.

You're absolutely right there.
I think back to my childhood and know that I was lucky. We didn't have heat ever, no water at times, no electric at times, no food at times, house fallin in on us, but it wasn't so terribly bad that anyone died or anything, so we were lucky. Yeah, we knew people that were killed because of gangs and drivebys, saw people die in front of our house, but we lived, we're okay.
I'm lucky for everything I have right now. I'm thankful for not being in a place where the threat of death is as great as the rest of the world. I know I don't say it everyday, but I'm glad I'm here and I'm glad I was brought up as I was. Otherwise, I'm sure I'd be just another super greedy American swine....I am a bit now, but I know it could be worse.
(Wow, that was long, I'm sorry.)
