i empathize with that situation. I don't get knocked off my feet hardly ever, and when I have gotten interested in the last couple of years, it just hasn't lasted. I guess it's a good thing to have that bar raised high . . . at least when you know, you'll know for sure.

i hope you're able to make your list of good things. i keep copies everywhere. on my computer, on my ipod, in my molskine journal that i carry everywhere. i pull it out and read over it all the time. it is even simple things like fruit on the bottom yogurt. just things that make me happy. i am really hoping you are able to get there. i know it's tough. somedays worse than others, but you've got what it takes to hang in there!

The first is indeed just always lovely. I've seen snow in a lot of places from mountains to lakes and plains. NYC definitely has its own magic when the snow is fresh, esoecially when the holliday lights are about. The park was pure today.
