dude, we're gonna have to hook up to hit the spa. i just wish i had 5 grand to try the negative progression. i figure i can make about 50 an hour for pretty much the rest of my life if i had that kinda cash.

hehe yeah i know all that world destruction, save the whales, save the snails is a real downer, but it's fun to learn new shit i don't usually focus on.

yeah man, i've rage's version of kick out the jams. i think it's terrible, it's too slow. i put it on my pc and sped it up a little, and then it didn't sound too bad.

I have heard of most of those bands. White Zombie are and forever will be the shiznit. Max Cavelera was never the same when he split from Sepultura. I'll check Ultraspank. Never got into Fear Factory or Machine Head. But thanks for the suggestions.

Yeah I went to Morongo before it was all fixed up too and some prostitute was showing us how to play the I Dream Of Jeannie game, good times! It does look really nice now, basically like Pechanga, which is basically like Vegas style all fancy-schmancy.

Sounds like you had a very nice drive, I love the Mojave desert, there are some good photo opp's at some train tracks and further on towards Bishop a few abandoned stores and motel types, good stuff to shoot in B/W, kinda' creepy sometimes though too.
Anyhow I have heard some of Neko Case's stuff before on a compilation cd i had got with a magazine or something, and yeah her voice is quite lovely! I'm not a huge manson fan, but his girlfriend is hella hot!!! heehhee, I've inadvertently seen him at his house, back when he was with Rose McGowan, (that was the second time i saw her) he was standing outside waiting for her to park, and some asshole was blocking the road so i was stopped there for like 3 minutes waiting and he and I just stared at each other and then I was on my way. he was tipsy i think, without a shirt, smeared makeup and kinda' swaying heehee.
And yeah i recognize the name of that film from the ifc channel, next time i catch it i will give it a try.
Okay so before I turn this "comment" into a novel, here's my answers to yr questions dear.
1. Are you afraid of dying or death in general?
No, actually I can't wait to die and see what happens after, but then if nothing happens, then yeah thats kinda scary. But seriously, no i am not afraid of death since i'm pretty spiritual and all I really do look forward to it, i don't mean to sound too morbid. Oh wait one thing, i really have a fear of not being able to breathe so i hope i don't go that way, that does freak me out (i.e. drowning/smothering, etc.)
2. What do you like to do when nobodys around, when your all alone?
Oh you know I am such a nerd, when I have me-time, I always read, i know that doesn't sound too exciting but its true, i snuggle up and read in bed, or watch films by myself or sometimes i like to just lay around and think about all kinds of things, life, dreams, etc. for hours.
3. whats a dirty secret you have?
ooh a dirty secret hmm...i'm interpreting this as something bad about me that no one knows, so i hope that's what you meant...let me see...what will I let out....fuck I don't know what to say! Um, once when I was broken up for like a day with an old boyfriend of mine I purposely got drunk and made out with his best friend who liked me (a girl) and then totally blamed it only on her when we got back together. Geez what an idiot I acted like when i was with that dude, it was one of those things where we brought out the worst in each other, you know very Sid & Nancy.

Blue cut is on old 66 in the cajon pass area. there is a section of old 66 that is nealry parallel to the 15 freeway. but for a short while it shoots off west around a small mountain. Blue Cut is the dead town around the back side of that small mountain.
to reach it from the northbound 15, exit kenwood ave, turn left, and then right onto old 66.
from the southbound 15, exit cleghorn canyon, turn right, and then left onto old 66.

No idea about any protests going on anywhere for the inaugeration. What a stupid event. You won the election, get on with the job. I don't think there's any of that nonsense that goes on over here. i'm sorry to hear that about Virginia, while it should be a great time to share with a friend (news of marriage and babys) instead yr dealing with the conflict of her jerky bf. and why do people, girls especially, listen to these jerks when they tell them not to talk to their friends or even family, i will NEVER understand.
trust me i know how you feel, my best friend since i was a kid also happens to be my aunt (my mom's little sister) who is one year younger than me. we have drifted apart down to just emailing because she only hangs out with her older asshole jerk bf. he doesnt like her to hang out with ANYONE except him, male or female, and even tho i'm related to her, he sees me as a threat for the simple fact that i take her away from him for even one hour to have dinner. im so sure like im going to take her out and make her cheat or something? what an idiot. but anyway not meaning to go off on a tangent for myself, back to relating to your situation, all i do is try and keep in touch as much as possible because i care about her still, as do you, so i suggest you try and do the same, at least tell her you want to still keep in touch some way. cos its horrible to not even know whats up with people you care about. but i know its not all up to you, it's her too, but the way i see it is we have no place to tell them who they should listen to or how they should act...i guess it's sometimes up to fate whether these people we care about will again see the light and say Hey WTF am i doing with my life here, shutting people out who love me? but until they realize that for themselves, if we badger them about it and how unfair it is, it seems to only push them or frighten them back to the jerks they are with. Stay loving and strong, and do yr best to never become bitter about it, i know its hard but it only keeps you hurting for the long run. i try to just cherish all the happy times together and know i will always have my love for them.

yeah i start back this tuesday
i don't think i'm familiar at all with the whole emo scene, i have heard of the get up kids tho, but haven't heard them.
LACMA of course is also an excellent museum, and for fun, the Museum of Death (off hollywood blvd.), although it has been awhile since i went there and i cannot be certain it is still open for business, it was a very interesting place however.
