kitty is much better, complete with a shaved belly and 15 staples. needless to say, the thing she ate was mine...part of a foamy toe-seperator (used to give pedicures) that she chewed up. it stuck in her bowels like a cork.

things have suddenly got rather expensive around here...
we lost $300 on the superbowl...
and today we took my cat to the vet and she has a blockage in her intestine, the only way to fix it is surgery. something like $1500.
poor kitty
they are going to operate tomorrow, i just hope everything goes ok.
there goes our vacation to florida fund! oh well....

growing up is highly overrated, but reality sometimes insists upon functioning as an adult. it's okay to smooth out the extremes of youth--perhaps necessary to do so--but never Never NEVER give up your joy and wonder and curiosity and playfulness.
