Mmm, not working is the bliss. Not working = bagels for breakfast and freshly roasted coffee. Oh, and breakfast at 3pm, just in time to see GoGo go live.

I have a little reception job for a couple of weeks starting on Monday. Reception suits me just fine. I answer the occasional phone call and spend the rest of the day reading or devising alphapuzzles...

Sunday brings the sun (although it's still frickin cold) and a little excursion to Camden with Mr Carmady. Woot! In no time at all, the Dude has a top and some Sketchers with blue plastic studs all around the soles, I have those black PVC trousers I been hunting, and a furry bra that almost definitely won't fit. So follows: noodles for lunch with...

I know how many of us on here adore a good old self-indulgent mump about the medication were on. And, never liking to miss a bandwagon as it trundles gently by, I thought Id post my offering.

Been on and off these here green pills for the last few years. You see I have these recurrent depressions, and the bastards wont seem to let me...

while I have never been diagnosed as depressive, pretty sure I tend that direction. A little introverted, tend to over self analyze, brittle self esteem, etc. I have also discovered that much of my distraction, inability to "get my life started" to paraphrase you is due to total paralysis, sometimes for weeks on end. get up, go through the motions, but nothing behind them.

So I'm with you on all this. You just gotta make yourself get outta bed.
and maybe take the meds.
and maybe read more tarot.

ps. I tagged you a coupla days ago. biggrin

Ung.

Our flat is a bit full of empty litre-gin bottles.

I'm enjoying this whole not-working lark, and lamenting the fact that I have to start a proper job next Monday. There is another girl working in the same department who lives in my neighbourhood. Let's hope that she has a car and can give me a lift each day, because if I have to...

Where do Catty et l'Homme du Catty live? Well happy to see them if poss.

We'll probably be North London (reasonably close to Kings Cross), kicking around the Northern line. Are you likely to arrive into Euston? If so, probably easiest if I try and meet you there (I'll come into Paddington if I take the train, or random places if I get the bus..)

Write down three true facts, and one lie. Don't tell us which one is the lie.
So I can see that no-one else is going to play this game with me. For the three people who did, then, these are the answers. (I noticed no-one was brave enough to say hell, aint no way you worked as a model! You charmers. wink )

I had a...

Like an attention-seeking hobag, I asked Ianreg to tag me because I had nothing to write in my journal.

So while I work my way through a bag of Taylor's of Harrogate's Lazy Sunday coffee I filled in these for your scrutiny. And next I'd like Carmady, godofinadequacy, Stew, Zooxanthelle, 1punk, Tempest,Nic, Manko and Dexy to do...

When I was 18, I was heavily left and moderately libertarian. Last week, I was heavily libertarian - and just noticeably further to the right. (:raised eyebrow icon: ) Are you worried?

Depends entirely on just how far left you were to start of with, I guess! Fear drift in the south-ease quadrangle ARRR!!!

but about you calling me a tart..

Not necessarily calling you a tart, the tart is just the owner of the knapsack....not really calling you a knapsack either tho.... Damnit. Just liked the sound of Tart's Knapsack and I got to work in smock for you too.

Spaghetti carbonara is aparently a damn good seduction choice, as it relaxes your prey, er partner, helps release endorphins, and other such stuffs. (It was a while since I read that article, okay? Low on remembered detail.)

I have so much to do before Carmady comes to take me back to the Shire tomorrow. All domestic stuff; making clothes clean, making my bedroom tidy and kitchen sparkly. On the other hand, I might just throw the nearest items to hand into a big bag and make a run for it. What's the New Year for if not tidying up?

Ah, the conversations one sometimes has to have with one's flatmate.

"Um, I think I might have broken your toaster."

"Um, can you, like, empty the bins now and then?"

"Um, I'm going to be shooting naked pictures of myself in the lounge tonight, is that ok?"

I took Em a glass of champagne and mentioned that I was taking doing a bit of a...

Something I might add to my 'makes me happy' section. Wandering through to the kitchen to make a coffee and hearing my housemate in the bedroom next door, softly swearing at her computer. "Work, you fucking thundercunt!"

How unexpected. I've tried in the past to plan teaching a tarot course with no success. Now out of the blue somebody possibly just approached me to ask if I would teach them.

Anybody else in the Birmingham area want to learn??
