Voltaire, food is good thing, especially when it's good food. Not fast food or pre-packaged stuff. The love and effort put into cooking definitely comes out in the taste. Congrats on getting back into dancing class, I hope it's a great experience for you. It's sounds like your running yourself ragged with your schedule. Take an afternoon off, get a couple of close friends and drive up the coast a few miles past Malibu, stop at one of those turnouts off of PCH and seriously sit and watch the sun set (after the rains and clouds leave of course), I guarantee you will come back refreshed. I should know, I haven't done that in quite a while and it always worked for me.

-philosophy or politics? Hmmm that is tough. I enjoy reading and writing about philosophy but when I discuss it with people I get frustrated that so many people clearly only pretend to have read whatever they are discussing or can't understand what they read. I am not talking about differences in interpretation I mean flat out getting things wrong or misrepresenting the core ideas of a philospohers work. For example I once talked to a guy who claimed Voltaire thought that this "was the best of all possible worlds". Apparently he didn't realize Candide was satire or never read it, or read something (cliff notes maybe?) about it and totally misunderstood it either way. Now, with politics people may have some crazy ideas, but, for the most part they generally have at least some understanding of what their party or candidates believe in. Kind of. yeah ok. Both frustrate me unless the person I talk to has at least some minimal degree of intelligence. And has not been misinformed.
-which is your least favorite food? Liver. I can't stand it in any form. Even pate and fois grais. It is just totally disgusting. Pineapple would be a close runner up.
-If you suddenly became rich, and never had to worry about money again, what would you do first? I would pay off my student loans and go to grad school. Choosing law school over grad school was the biggest mistake of my life. Even if I didnt have to I would want the opportunity to work at least part of the time and I think teaching would be interesting & fullfilling work.

All the homework I need to catch up on, and the fact that I would rather pay attention to more interesting things on the web. The big stack of records that I've bought recently, but have not put aside the time to listen to them. Finding time to watch the new DVDs I bought. Wondering why I feel so sleepy and depressed most of the time. The fact that I wouldn't mind a relationship right now, but Iam still gunshy over my last shitty relationship and I want to get over the fact that I become attached too quickly before I even think about dating anybody. Various things I should probably be discussing with my therapist, like switching my meds. No really I'm not a lunatic!

Winter, because I like colder weather, and rain, and I get more accomplished in Winter for some reason.
