Agh! Flashback Weekend is in like 5 days! Not really ready...but can't wait for it to come! Always a blast! If you're in the area come on down and see us at our table! (I would recommend Sat or Sun as that's when all the pretty girls are there, lol.)

Okay, here's our latest episode---our 2009 Halloween Special. Featuring, as always, Salome as my co-host...

Okay, here it is, our latest episode. Had an issue with a song that was used so I had to do some editing, so this is the edited for youtube version--and not the broadcast version. But the change is negligible.

Hope you all enjoy. This one's chock full of hot chicks as Undead Johnny and Romy (the super awesome Salome, my super awesome buddy)...

Let's see. Whole lot of stuff going on, just been too busy to write about it! So what better place to do so then work on a rainy Sunday afternoon.

So let's see. Last weekend my best gal Jenny and I went to see Maria Bamford at the Lakeshore. She was hilarious. Absolutely brilliant. She had a real unique stand up persona and used her...

Thanks to everyone who came out to the Wilmette Theatre for the High Voltage Burlesque Show last Saturday night! It was a huge success (as was the last one...and the upcoming holiday one will be epic) and it was great to see everyone there.

All the girls did an amazing job--esp Salome, Sauda and Coralee! Seriously, these girls were amazing (and lucky me...

Well, wish Jenny a belated happy birthday from me--and I look forward to seeing the latest episode! Oh, and I wouldn't mind getting a bit closer to Chicago and actually catching one of the burlesque shows, either. I can dream, can't I?
silversurfer:
It was fun meeting you after the show.

Have a good vacation.

I watched some of the World of the Weird Monster Shows and if you are saying, youve got a new girlfriend, i just have to ask, what happened to the previous one? wink

Your show is very entertaining and although i dont understand every single word, i am laughing out loud very often. biggrin
salome:
YAY for new girlfriend! I can't wait to meet her!

New episode online on our youtube channel.

This ends our "trilogy" of sorts introducing Romy as our new co-host. These last three episodes have served as a great intro for Romy's character and how it impacts the show.

In this episode, Romy has a great idea to help promote WOWMS's screening of HOUSE ON HAUNTED HILL by having herself and Johnny and some fans locked...

Aww thanks. I like to think I kick extra ass when I play as Zoey.

I'm really counting on Brutal Legend to be everything I ever wanted from Jack Black. Haha. I would wait in the PS3 until fall. Talk to my man or email me for details on that.

I'm sure that Project Natal is pretty awesome. The technology is rather exciting to be sure. It takes a little different light on it when you see things sort of from 'the inside'. One of the Microsoft guys who presented was Kudo Tsunoda, who ran the EA Chicago studio before it was closed. My man worked there. Kudo helped us move into the condo I live in today. In the demo video they have an example of a skateboard game, which is from what I understand total crap. Tony Hawk was touting Robomodo's board will work much better than that. It has its place for sure, but some of the "possible applications" are pipe dreams. If you didn't see it, here is the vid for my man's game, THRide.

Also, if you're into Nintendo and/or Conan O'Brian:

That does not make you old. My husband has a Commodore 64 and Atari 2600 at his 'rents. Right in front of me we have NES, SNES, N64, Gamecube, PS2, Wii, and 360. i still want that virtual boy. wink

And the World of the Weird Monster Show's newest cast member is.....Clancy Brown!

Okay, not really, but he did shoot some stuff for us today. How cool is that? Two of my all time favorite films from my teen years--that I watched over and over again--were "Adventures of Buckaroo Banzai Across the 8th Dimension" and "Highlander." and of course, Clancy is in both. Not to...

An audio commentary of an episode, you say? What's that, and how does it work?
silversurfer:
I'm not sure how much I'll be able to contribute to the discussion, but if that doesn't bother you, I'm up for it. When you have the detailed info, send it to me in a PM.

First up, another brand new episode of the World of the Weird Monster Show is online! This is our second new episode with the super metal/awesome Salome as my co-host, the very, very adorable Romy. The show was a huge success--sold out to the last seat! 190 people! Salome did an amazing job putting a fantastic show together...
