I'll come to loathe the sun in a month or two, but for now it's nice to have the windows open and experience a breeze that doesn't turn your bones to dust. Neil Gaiman summed up the weather in this part of the country in his journal recently. It's winter and it's cold and it's snow, and then for two weeks it's spring and it's LOVELY out, and then summer starts and the mosquitos start and the sweat, and the sweat, and the SWEAT.
But for the next few weeks, it's going to be nice to be outside. I can't even comprehend being in Florida every damn day.

The pictures didn't strike me as being photoshopped, but then I don't know much about photoshop. And there have been at least two documented murders of Iraqis by Americans, one by a soldier, the other by a private contractor employed by the CIA, so I wouldn't discount this behavior.
