So I have to go to the Midwest next week for work.
Any ideas on where to go? Eat? See?

I'm hitting St. Louis, Chicago, Fort Wayne. Big time cities. Lots of drinking.

Gonna do the Arch and the brewery in St. Louis.
The Sears Tower and Soilder Field in Chicago.
Not sure what to do in Fort Wayne.

Your suggestions are welcome.

I have only been to MI once, so I am no help on NoCoast front.

Bher is great paint. I really liked working with it. (We used Khils primer, also good)

I like your sandstone choice. I want to do a similar color in the kitchen... I keep saying kahki, same color pretty much. I don;t know about doing a celing red or black. It's either going to look funky and good, or weird and bad. What's your lightning like?

ha, 85% of my furniture is black ikea crap. Gotta love shoestring budgets! blackeyed

So yeah, I am still about meeting up, catching up, and having a drink!

I finally saw all of Groundhog Day at Ray's house just before we broke up. I had seen bits and pieces before that but never the whole thing. I feel like a more complete person now that I've seen it. You know, one of those movies that everyone expects you have seen. The movie has a weird rep... like your theology teacher, many people read WAY too much into it.

Yeah, beer might not have been the best remedy, but I got to hang out with Joanna and I love her. So it was all okay.

Being the newspaper kid I am, and based on broadcast media's penchant for jumping the gun, I'm going to go with blaming the broadcast media for the false report.

What do broadcasters read every morning? The newspaper. Then they work on their stories for the day.
