i'm such a dork.
last week i complimented an SG on her witty reproval of "random fuckbag," who had written into the advice column. i thought i remembered seeing that screenname before, so didn't think much of it. later i saw that "random fuckbag" wrote in the advice column again. gee, i thought, this guy must be really bored or making a joke to write...

Dude, seriously, you have the grand quality of being a dork and and idiot simultaneously. The idiot part is an answer to your question posted on my journal page...but that is what I find so entertaining about you. And vice versa I am sure.
hotcurry:
i've noticed a trend in my attitude toward new things:
1) i love it
2) i'm obsessed
3) obsession peaks; starts to stale
4) i like it (in a more healthy, balanced, realistic way)
step 4 is the best overall, but why do i have to go through the first 3? then again, the first 2 are pretty fun, #4 makes me feel more mature....

hey, hey, hey, guys, this applies to more than just girls...though those are probably the most interesting examples...

No biggie
It's my choice so I have nothing to hide really.
i just saw a really sad website today. i'm feeling continually less proud to be American. i don't even feel like rooting for us in the olympics. i respect the athletes, but i can't feel glad about trying to show the world we're the best. i feel better when another country wins.

I will always root for America. Having been born in another country poor and getting naturalized as a citizen here, I don't take too much credence in other people bashing the US, because the majority of those people either don't understand world affairs very well, take the US for granted or simply want the US to fail because they are its enemies.
So chin up, you live in the greatest country to ever exist in the history of mankind. That's gotta count for something

I love Jeopardy. I would gladly stay up all night playing it with friends.
i think i'm losing more brain cells all the time. and it's not from partying all the time, and using a bunch of drugs. those would be good excuses. it's from lack of use. i'm just a lazy fuck.
ah well, that's what i have friends for. they stimulate me. it's amazing how much i depend on friendships. for everything. for sanity. for joy. for...

Aw, shucks. You're pretty awesome your own self. It was very nice chatting with you last night. I hope to do it again sometime.
And you have at least 2 fans that post.

I know. I'm pathetic.
But I did end up going back up to Universal to break a story I'm woking on with my writer friend. So the day wasn't a total wash. It just took a while to get started.
i have nothing to say. that's the only thing i hate about journals. it happens too often to me.
sorry to disappoint all my fans, hehe.
some people can write on and on about anything. not me. that's one reason i always dreaded writing papers in college. i was a biology major, damn it. college was cool though. met most of the people i now...

icmn seems cool as hell and I npw remember the name of the song by Pennywise that he posted today, but I feel guilty guessing three days in a row.
P.S. as a fan of your journal I do feel let down.
I've never been to the bay area, but as a girl who grew up in the NYC area everyone swears I'll love SF. I want to go, I just don't know anyone up there or anything to do.

for the thousands and THOUSANDS of people reading this:
go say hello to my best bud icmn. he's the reason i'm here in the first place.
also, we're not partners in everything, it just seems that way.

my grandma has melanoma. she's caught it in early stages before, but this time there's a chance that it has spread. today she asked me to research what happens as the cancer progresses, since she doesn't have the internet. she's a little scared.
weird thing though, i couldn't find anything out. tons of info on prevention, diagnosis, and treatment, but that's all. like they don't...

Boston Terriers are such great dogs. Huge personalities. Frank loves being around people, cats and other dogs. I wish he was mine. For now I just have to settle for walking him for friends.
i totally dig this little pirate:

I used to like spiders when I lived in Jersey and we'd only have daddy long legs and little safe non-poisonous ones. Then I moved to LA and this woman at work put a terrible fear into me about black widdows. Spiders were no longer my friends.
well, my best friend got me a subscription for a late birthday present. kick ass.
right now i'm a little isolated out in the country (near Santa Cruz), but i'm hoping to move back to the bay area within the next year (i graduated from uc berkeley last year).
that's all i have to say for now. don't be shy, now.
