We put up our Christmas tree last night! The star on top is already falling off, just from the cats playing under the tree, but it's soo purdy! We toned it down a bit as far as the ornaments, and didn't put on any garland or ting ting....

Isn't it crap?? I wish this was back in the day when you could survive on one income and Moms got to stay home with their babies. It's really starting to eat away at me.
I can't believe he's 9 weeks already! It seems like just yesterday we were pregnant. Quinn is 6 weeks today. It's so sad how fast they grow. She already doesn't fit into clothes, she smiles and babbles all the time and she's holding herself up like she's ready to crawl already! I can't take it! They need to slow down and be little for a while longer. :sob:

I think he may have your eyebrows and Jeffs nose? The hair is a trip though...I guess it's a mix of both of you. Actually a lot of Spencers features seem to be a blend of both of you guys... not distinctly from just one of ya'll.

Life has been so busy working two jobs. Although, now i'm finally done working as a Nanny, so I will have free time again. Although Jay and I will be going to see my family this weekend.

I'm pretty sure they get a year in Canada too. I wish I was off longer, but my boss did let me change my hours. I have to go in earlier but she'll still be asleep in the morning so I get an extra hour and a half with her in the evening now. I'm still hoping we win the lottery so I don't have to go back at all lol.
I put some temporary dye in my hair today. It's got a reddish tint to it now I got all jealous of Spencer's hair I guess lol.

Pretty good. Quinn's thrush is almost gone, her cord finally fell off and her tear duct is perfect now. Finally my stress and anxiety level have gone down lol. My husband and I have been doing really well considering we have no idea what we're doing haha!

The thrush didn't bother her at all. The medicine on the other hand was a problem. It's really thick like syrup and you're supposed to swish it in their mouth. How they expect a 10 day old to swish anything was beyond me. It cleared up within 2 days so we lucked out there because she would gag every time I had to give it to her. Thankfully that's over.
Ugh, I have a headache.
Today was my first doctor appointment post partum. Let's just say...
Happiness = losing 30 lbs since finding out I was pregnant.
Saddness = instead of commenting on how good I've done, my obgyn said "well, looks like you have some weight to lose".
So in other words, I didn't ask her about a referral to the plastic surgery department....
