Even when we reach for it, as I often do, we come to a point where it's rejected, violently and we need truth. With that comes the strong vivid colors of reality, I envy you for holding your arms out to it. Give me time and I will have followed your lead in my own way of course.

Thanks for your post on my journal!! I do my best to see past all of the downers and find a way to deal with things. We have all had to do the same in our lives. No one gets out of this world without a few battle scars.
I have been depressed before. I know how hard it is to see clearly when you feel like you are getting hit from all sides. I'm just trying to be a ray of light. I just hope I am guiding in the right direction. I am not a therapist either, just a guy who wants to help for helpings sake.
I liked your post on Faith's site. You might very well be right! I like the cocoon theory. You are also right that Faith has a lot of people on this site that care about her and want to help. I know one thing that will help Faith. Pester spooky and missy to get another Faith set up! Seriously!
Word o' wisdom: Most of the time when you are trying to help someone, you WILL feel useless in your endeavors. That feeling does not mean that you are not helping.
Glad you are feeling better after your walk in the rain. You know, we will all change whether we want to or not. Just like the Borg, you will be assimilated. Your mind, body and spirit will constantly reinvent itself.

Ahhhhhh...first day of my vacation . I slept until 2:00 . I have a few menial tasks to do today but overall a whole lot of NOTHING . Unfortunately , I can't really afford to take a actual vacation right now but any time spent away from work is a good thing .

Now, I have one question for you...Would you have conducted your date with sweet girl differently if you hadn't been recently talking to your ex again? See, i see you as a more agressive person. I really can'e see you not asing sweet girl if she just didn't find you funny or was having a bad time. I mean, obviously she she didn't because she called you not once but twice. Sometimes women, well people in general, put walls up to weed out the bad... Don't judge too quickly my dear boy, silence is golden...one who doesn't speak can say the most.
We also need to think about the opinion of you're friend who set you up...sometimes friends can see more than we can....
So okay grasshopper, the ex is an ex for a reason.... don't go back out of comfort... make sure you have taken an inventory on what went wrong the first time, look for changes and above all don't think with you're wee wee, he'll only lead you to heartache.
