(10 years) She does the adult thing when she has to. She puts on the ill-fitting adult suit when she has to and then pops right back into being a kid again. I am trying to learn from her.

hey dude, not that i know a lot of great TOP SECRET info on girls, but i do know this one nugget of information: that girl's got a lame vibe. she's giving you a barrage of pseudo-skank indicators, but she's kind of playing wuss at the same time. there's flirty, and then just plain drama queen. stay away. i met my husband at a skanky ass bar over five years ago, and sure it was love (hnyeah, sure it was...)at first sight, but we were both direct and honest about it. you'll know it if a girl wants to suck face with you at a bar, she won't need bathroom conferences or walks with her friends or anything else ridiculous like that. try to meet up with her outside of the bar, maybe a coffee shop or something, and actually talk to her. maybe she's not as silly as she acted in the bar (bars do dumb things to dumb girls, sometimes...get her out of that atmosphere and she might actually be quite excellent!). that's my two cents. i think i've been watching too much dr. phil lately, i'm sorry. good luck!

Sorry about your friend. Not just guys but people can be assholes. You are doing what you can by spending time with her and easing her pain by your friendship. Don't get discouraged. It is only after she is through all this that she will see what you did as something wonderful!!!
