Yeah, it's a lot of work to get through such a focused event, especially because you're always trying to make sure you put your best foot forward. There's also the risk of losing motivation afterwards when it's time to do all the new work.

I have gotten the "whitest black guy i know" comment numerous times, and all of the time it was by one of my white friends. how i could smile in their faces all the time, and not know that all they could think of is how "white acting" i am. I actually had this one guy at my job say to me, "i am blacker than you". I pointed to my skin and then towards his, and said, "I am blacker than you will ever be, i was born black, you were born white....CASE CLOSED". Speaking improperly, listening to only rap music while slurring and/or PURPOSEFULLY abbreviating/hacking words in normal conversation to sound cool IS JUST NOT ME.....i was given an education for a reason.........and it seriously upsets me when people say shit like that. i can totally see where you are coming from, and it makes me very mad.
