I suspect you'd like it here in New York, too. Of course there would be a period of adjustment. I know it takes time for outsiders to realize, one, that we're not rude, just in a hurry, and two, the state constitution guarantees all citizens the right to be the biggest assholes possible -- believe me, almost everybody here abuses that right. As far as your family and your comic, well, some people have trouble with nilhilism. It's not a cuddly subject which lends itself to easy grasp.

OK I have the box spring and that makes me old... but to off set that... I use an unzipped sleeping bag spread out as a blanket. That makes me young again, right?

Did you friends get any free stuff? Usually you get free stuff if you sit the audience. I sat in the audience of the Dr. Phil show once and got a shit load of stuff!!! It was totaly cool!!! And good luck on those bug bites, I know what's that like. I'm allergic to them so they end up like welts on my skin >.<
