i'm still basking in the glow of my birthday, photo shoots and my good review.

i've seen two of the four sets i shot this summer and they are seriously rad.

no spoilers though. you suckers just have to wait.

guess who's shooting 3 photo shoots this weekend!

i can't think of a way that i'd rather spend my birthday weekend.
the crossing of the threshold of the big 23 doesn't actually happen until sunday, but we're hanging out over it tomorrow night.

last night i learned a valuable lesson about the weight of meat versus the time it needs to cook.

after i called mom and got that all straightened out tripledead, larry and i sat down and had a regular old farmer food dinner.

mmmmm roast.

as of this morning i've folded 40 paper cranes. that means i'm 1/25 of the way there!

I thought you sounded some what interested in the TOMBOW pen as a water color, so heres a few photos.

This is the beginning with just pen, about halfway ready for water.


These two are finished works after brushing on small amounts of water. That steps the hardest to get right.

well, if thats the case, i cant really justify the expense.

the thing is, it sounds the prices are simply way higher out here. as long as it isn't RELATIVELY cheap, we should be fine, eh?

plus, i wouldn't judge any other art by the price, why this one? my friends who got the $40/hour tattooes got soe really awesome work--it was just cheap because it was a new studio trying to get their work out there.
