So after my gig tonight a studio owner/producer came up to me, gave me her card, and said "you MUST play on this record I'm working on....I absolutely love your bass playing".

I haven't heard that in awhile. And it's been a bit since I've done some well-paying studio work, so I'm down with a little extra cash.

I received my renewed passport in the mail yesterday.

So yeah....getting back to LA was a freaking nightmare.

Drove from Detroit to Chicago in a snowstorm. A whiteout snowstorm.

Once I got to Chicago, my connecting flight to Minneapolis had been pushed back late enough for me to miss my LA flight, so I could only get as far as Minneapolis last night.
