There are perks to knowing someone who owns a bar.
I'm in Detroit freezing my brisket, going to check out the bar me and my buddy are buying for the first time. If everything goes according to plan, we should be ready to take over in April.

There's no Thanksgiving in Portugal, so it's kind of odd cos I don't even know what it's about

OK FINALLY....Phase One of purchasing the bar in Detroit is complete. Papers signed, money into escrow.
Phase Two: Negotiating a reasonable lease with the landlord.
Phase Three: Transferring the liquor license.
Should be around March or April that we take over.
My time in Los Angeles is starting to feel a little more finite.

Honestly I'm just doing my best to be happy first and kind of making it has I go. Sometimes I feels there is a great book of life and I'm the only one that didn't get a peak at it. All my friends act like they've figured it all out and telling me what I should and shouldn't do. I suspect they don't have a clue. They just think it makes them look cooler or something.
