Happy after-holiday sales! 
I hope everyone's holiday was as enjoyable as mine. It was not nearly as dysfunctional as I had originally anticipated, but I think people were on their best behavior. *sighs* The food was wonderful, the company was even better (nothin' like family, eh?) and the gift-giving was off the freaking hook. So yeah. It was a great couple of days.
The parents left for Florida on Friday, so I'm here all by me lonesome with the dog, cooking up a storm and doing laundry. I'm going to poke my head out into the world for a little while and maybe see what Macy's has to offer in the way of new shirts....I need new shirts.
RxQueen the fabulous and I are headed down to Le Shack tonight, which should be interesting. I feel so bad that I missed last week's shindig but ugh. I was soooo dead. Anyway, I'm okay now and not contagious! w00t!
Oh, here's a good one...I went to give blood on Christmas Eve with my dad (he is having surgery on 1/20/04 and donated his own blood for it). I give about 4-5 times per year so it's really no big deal for me anymore. The worst part is the finger stick.
But anyway I guess one of the donor techs was so antsy to get out of there (we went kind of late) and jabbed me with that needle (that's a big freaking needle) so hard that she bruised me!! And I'm still bruised! The venipuncture might even scar because it just looks icky (and I have a scar from another time but not from that donation center). Eep.
Michael gave me a new Nextel Phone for Christmas. Yay! I'm very happy. I have to go and pick it up with him tomorrow after we go to Blue Man Group . (Aunt Diane rules)
Annndddd.....we're having dinner at Oznot's Dish .
This week is turning out alot better than I had originally expected. *koff*
