- Doc says I have a middle AND outer ear infection. As a result, I can't go in the pool for a week. I also have to take a horse pill twice a day [1000mg of Augmentin ], not to mention find an Otolaryngologist. Who knew that recurrent ear infections were abnormal at age 23?
