I'm thinking about switching jobs... a friend of mine at OG just got a job at Ruth Criss's, and said that it isn't uncommon for a decent server to make almost a grand a week. There's people there who make a career out of it... He said he got REALLY dressed up (like, black dress pants, nice shirt, black tie, nice 400 dollar leather suit jacket,) and felt VERY under-dressed
The manager says they rarely get people under the age of 25, it's geared towards older people... so, I think I might do well there. I'm a fantastic server, and know I could make a lot of money. It's in the new "upscale" side of Va Bch., so it will always be busier than where I'm at...
So, yeah.

I'm definitely not weird about being hit on. And, luckily, neither is my bf. We both come home and tell each other about the crazy things we've seen when being hit on. I love being hit on and he always likes when I come home and tell him all about it. I'm glad he's so relaxed about it, especially since I'm going to be a bartender... When I worked at my last job up at the bar, I used to get hit on all day long, and than quit, and saw my bf every day. So, getting hit on now, is really flattering. It's nice to know people think I'm hot. I'm really self-conscious, so, I need approval
Poker is easy, it's all mostly chance anyways. And, trust me, when you start losing, pay attention to why... and you'll get better. You should definitely stay after and play some co-worker poker

Ok, disturbingly hilarious that I keep snake food as a pet... I know. But see, I had pet rats for years before I had a pet snake. It's weird for me to feed rats to my snake, I have to convince myself they wouldn't be pet-worthy anyways. So, in the two occasions when I have gotten a really friendly/cute food rat, I kept it. The first one went to a friend of mine, and this one is mine. Besides, my two girls are nearing middle age, and I have been looking for a new pet rat for a while. I even thought about driving to Pa. to get one from Squeak. So, I take finding her as a sign that I should keep her.
