Although, the fact that there was a Moxy Fruvous concert going on in the building the last time I ran one may have added to the chaos.

I feel like I should say something about Soma...

You know, I hate to be a killjoy, but when I lived there, Montreal was overrun with LARPers who *did* get a big kick out of freaking the mundanes (or, alternatively, just had vampire personae that were way cooler than they were irl)... and it was bloody annoying. You couldn't get a drink at the Sphinx without someone coming up to you and telling you that they wanted to suck your blood and had Dominate Five.

Though a highlight was the game where the players'd decided that the rule about no realistic weapon props was dumb and then had the bright idea to play in a public place...

Hey, we *almost* hired a guy whose AOS was Aristotle's theory of dreams, so there's hope...

Congrats on the impending graduation! If you decide on grad school, I'd just take care to look out for one that both is open-minded enough to like your degree and is traditional enough to get you a job when you finish (unfortunately, as I'm sure you know, the academic philosophy world can be pretty snobbish).
