Last week ended up nearly as bad as it started. Thankfully this week got off to a much better start and has stayed pretty decent. Here's hoping I'm not getting skunked by someone's backroom dealings.

In lighter news, Posh's new set is wonderful. Playful, engaging, beautiful... And her eyes are just stunning. I simply fall into them and get lost.

Sometimes work brings me down. Despite all the great things I think I accomplish, I run into days like today, where I discover someone else moved just a little faster than me or was a little more creative than me, and I end up feeling like I'm in second place. *sigh*

The week was going great... until I got stuck in the bad weather Dallas had yesterday. My flight was cancelled, I was in an airport for something like 9 hours before finally getting on a plane to go home. My cell phone battery ran out. My laptop battery ran out. I felt totally unplugged and exposed.

The sucky week was followed by a quiet weekend. I like that.

What a sucky week... A family member had to go to the emergency room for their heart. Everything is fine now, but damn, it was scary. Puts things into perspective.

I finally got to play some Xbox Live. I've been traveling so much this year I haven't really had much of a chance to play games online. When I play online I like to really get into it for several hours, so Halo 3 and me snuggled up for about 6 hours of play. I just signed off.
