I think I'm a bit crazy... Or a sucker for a cute face. I just got a puppy today, a mutt we rescued. She's at that clutsy stage and she's a cutie, so I think I'm falling for her.
On the reading front, I finished one pulpy Star Wars book then a friend talked me into reading the first Sookie Stackhouse book, since I like a good vampire story. It was interesting, but I enjoy True Blood more, which is pretty rare for me.
Another friend talked me into getting The Host, which I will get to after I finish the second of those Star Wars books. And after I read Zoe's Tale, a sci-fi book by Scalzi of the Old Man's War fame. So I have a good stack of books both devoured and queued up.
What about the Anita Blake novel? I picked it up right after reading Breaking Dawn and really couldn't get into it. I think Anita has nerfed a bit too much. So I'm going to polish off the current sci-fi books in the queue and see where my mood takes me.
Plus, to strike a bit of balance, I'm playing some Rock Band (1 & 2) and and Fallout 3 and Fable II DLC. And I still need to finish the final act of Gears of War 2. Not to mention train this new puppy of ours. (And work, but let's not mention that, shall we...?)
