Another in an occasional series on Why I Love My Girlfriend.

It's hard to write this as she's watching over my shoulder being very disapproving, but basically, how can you not love someone who describes herself as a riddle wrapped in an enigma, impaled arse-first on a question mark.

Or whose theme remarks over this weekend to me has been "You're such a fruit" and "Don't boogie." (The latter said, kindly and gently, anytime I happened to move too fast.)

Or the moment where I tell her "You're so the guy in this relationship" and she says disgustedly: "Oh God, you want to talk about Feelings, don't you."

For those interested in her health given recent crises, she's ok and on strong medication. This means that I can turn to her when she's misbehaving in a taxi and say "Are you on drugs?" and she'll happily say "Why, yes, yes I am." But of course, she is actually being no weirder than usual.

One more reason to love her is that, lying in bed, snuggled up in the dark, from the dead silence, she announces, "I don't want to get married. Let's just have a Primacy Assignation Ceremony or something. With gifts."

But I'll marry her yet.
