Yesterday I drew up my Sort Life Out List. Things I have to do this week or remain a perpetual bum for the rest of my life. Here they are (in no real order):

3. Write CV
4. Catch up drink with Nat
5. See documentary filmmaker my mother knows
6. Look at mandy.com

ahhh the transition to mac. everyone i know comes and looks at my g5 imac and loves it, but they're all scared about having to learn how to use a new computer.
i keep trying to tell them it's easy, the basic principles are the same, they just work slightly differently.
i try and tell them, the day after i got my ibook (my first mac) i ordered the missing manual - which is a great book, it completely tells you how to use a mac - but by the time it arrived 3 days later i'd pretty much figured out all but the most geeky things from the book. they all say it's because i'm a big geek and i 'know' computers, but the day i fired up that ibook i felt completely lost tongue
the transition should be pretty easy, just throw yourself into the mac, i don't know about you but i spend a hell of a lot of time on my computer, and learning the ins and outs of my mac has been an incredibly rewarding experience. i'm constantly amazed by how much you can do, and by how much most people don't know about their computers. use the new OS as an excuse to really learn some stuff in depth, it really does pay off in the long run smile

Man, sorry for lack of updates but my life is filled with work at the moment.

I finished uni last Thursday (Fucking A!) and after some celebration and the amazing Cheltenham experience I've had to work every day to attempt to cover my bills for the next month. It sucks, yesterday was my one day off this week and I'm not off again until next...

And so Thomas bade farewell to his old haunt. He scanned the familiar faces that had travelled with him over the past three years, they were smiling and laughing, perfectly captured in a perfect moment to last a lifetime.

He smiled to himself.

It has been a good experience he thought, sometimes I wish it doesn't have to end.

He sighs.

But I have work...

Ok guys, I've got to go off radar for about a week if I'm going to hold any chance of passing my degree. I can't check this site because I'll end up surfing it for hours.

If anyone round Bristol wants to come to my Open Mic next Tuesday then email me and I'll send you the details. If not then hopefully I'll catch you...

the books are indeed damn good...i think i had a similar experience with favoring one of the solo books and then switching, but i think overall i like backwards better than last human (little too star-trekky for me with them travelling all over and meeting their sons and stuff - although Rimmer finally redeeming himself at the end brought a lil' tear to my eye wink )
good luck with your degree!

cheers for the birthday wishes, and personally, i'm not sure if people that don't appreciate kevin smith should be trusted wink

You looked into my eyes and you smiled at me
We've had a drink or two, it's good to be free
Did I ever say you look like Anna Friel
As I lean in and try to cop a feel

You say to me no way
But your scent begs for me to stay
You want to go and find your sister
I say that's...

Saw that Paula Radcliffe footage the other day and pissed myself. Then I got really scared as I thought it was contagious

You don't have friends of the opposite sex, just people you failed to shag and find difficult to ignore in social situations.

Oh yes folks, another Open Mic Night hosted by yours truly this coming Tuesday and my material is filling up nicely....

Man, that was a weekend I so needed. It's amazing when the right people come along at exactly the right time.

I didn't go home in the end. I couldn't get the time off work and there was shit that needed to be done so I generally felt like frown on Friday. Then I heard it was a mate's birthday party that night and as it...

those guys, adam and miz, sound awesome. true friendship is when you don't have to do anything special to enjoy each other's company. when you can simply enjoy the fact that each of you is there.
