Okay.. I'm having computer troubles. HDD and optical drive transfer rates seem to be ludicrously slow. There may also be CPU complications. (I have all the updated drivers and BIOS, so that's not it.)

If anyone out there knows anything about new-fangled technology, please... PLEASE help me.

I'm getting a new computer this month. Which is sweet.

After this, I can focus on getting a better apartment downtown.

Another update... my boss has been replaced very poorly, but this new guy is giving me much more control over the kitchen. All I have to do in exchange is... um... all of his work as well as mine.

It's always a trade-off.
