As to the Boondock Saints 2 rant, I couldn't find it on IMDB quotes. I had to transcribe the thing myself. I'll be using it as a Monologue audition piece for some shows soon.
I actually loved Boondock Saints 2. I felt that it was slow at times, and the flashback format of the backstory got a little irritating, but damn if Troy Duffy doesn't still write some seriously funny dialogue.

First let me say that coming from a layman, all of my comments may be worthless. I think it was shot very well, very clean and smooth transitions. The audio synced seamlessly so I can't see any technical problems with it. The real problem with it are the performances of the two sub-humans that keep babbling in every scene.
Since you are a talented writer, can I assume you didn't write the script?

All in all I would say usable in your portfolio. From a tech aspect it is well shot and edited. The rest of it I would say you had no control over. Good work.

Criticizing anyone doesn't usually go over well no matter what the industry. I just checked out their web site... so, yeah. Some of the exhibits look very legit and well founded. Others look like fluff pieces that any local organization across the U.S. could put together with a minimum of time and effort. It does have a very business like feel to it. Is what you are shooting going to be used to promote the facility on tv or the web or is it going to be used for presentations to gather investors? I hope that it will come out solid enough so that you can use it in your portfolio.
Public television fodder. That is by far my favorite new derogatory phrase for the week. The only redeeming quality PBS ever had was that they would show Red Dwarf and Monty Python reruns every once in a blue moon. Let me know when the video is available on the web, I would dig checking it out. And yes, you are terrifying critical and self deprecating so I am sure it will be quite good. Especially to a visual layman such as myself.
