You know there hasn't been real confirmation that there were acutally tornadoes. Weird, hm? Regardless, you know how the weather is here .. where I live, everything looks perfect .. but that YMCA and Pier 1 is only a mile away at the most. I drove by that today on my way to the State Museum (which is really nice, btw.. you should go). The weather here is so crazy. How's your area?

The power of SG never ceases to amaze me. First it fixes DigDugs plumbing and now my tattoo needs!

Looks like I might be getting some work done on Sat. The guy that did my sleeve/chest piece is working an art expo type thingie and needs someone with big pieces(huh... I got a big piece...) to work on. Probably won't be much work, maybe some...

I really need to start a new tattoo. I miss the smell of green soap and the sound of machines buzzing away.

I used to go to second time around all the time in high school! I bet Alexis knows my sister, she was more of a scenester than I was, plus she talked to people, which I didn't. Her name is Leslie and she is 2 years younger than me. We both went to Broad Ripple HS. Tell Vess I said hi (I'm Gregg, btw)!

day 4 of not smoking and so far so good. I hope I don't become one fo those militant ex-smokers. Since most of my friends smoke that'd really suck ass if I did.

Anyway, look how big the belly is getting! Crazy... Last night she said she felt something moving. I think it was just gas. At least that's what it smelled like.
shocked
thirtyseven:
way to go. i'm a militant non-smoker and proud of you smile
martyr13:
hahahahah
i hope for your sake that it isn't gas..

DOH!! I put some leftover cake in the oven the other day and forgot about it. So today I go to make some french fries and turn the oven to 450F and walk away to let it warm up. 15 min later the entire first floor of the house is full of smoke. Lucky for me the fire alarm didn't go off.

Sometimes i'm not...

Hey, look, a baby!

I wonder who that woman is? It's hard to tell, what with her being incognito tongue

Lex's starting to show so I took some pics of her last night. It's really amazing to see all the changes she's going through.

requiem:
How's Hannibal Lexter (...don't mean anything by that - I just made it up) doing? Will she be able to join you for the Disneyland tromp?

Started the new job yesterday and found out I had to take a drug test. I don't smoke much ganja and I took a 1hour detox solution a couple hours before I took the test but I'm still freaked out about it. Hope I pass... I'm digging the job and we needs money to get the baby room going.

Enough of that... We're off to...

what a weekend! We spent 4 days in norhtern Wisconsin consuming massive amounts of beer/mead and partying with friends from all over the country then I come home to find that I've got a new job!

Looks like I'll make the east coast SG hookup after all.

Well to be honest you aren't missing much by not coming to michingan, its got some stuff thats good and bells is definitly one of them. Kalamazoo is pretty good cause its a college town so there pretty much always some place to go and party and hopefully take some money from strangers.

T2B,

The Hawk is running great! Tomorrow I'm going to take it in to have the shocks replaced. I can't even drive over speed bumps in parking lots without bottoming out. Also, I'm very concerned about a patch of rust I found in one of the floorboards. The entire underside has a rustproof coating on it, so I can't really see what's going on with the metal under there. I think I'm going to take the car to a body shop and have them inspect the frame to be sure it is solid. I can deal with rusted floorboards, but if the frame or rocker panels are rusted, that's a whole other question...

Your new job, is that for the developer?

How about Amtrak for the Disneyland trip?

Is it just me or does the night before a big trip always suck?

there is no spoon
requiem:
Who cares? You don't need a spoon for beer.

I made it back intact! Thanks for putting me up last week. You guys are great! How'd the interview go? If Lex can't fly you should drive - it only takes about five days...

Lex had her first doc visit today.. Unfortunately it was too early to hear a heartbeat or do an ultrasound but maybe in a couple more weeks.

I'm so excited!

good for you guys bob, and hey man you may be my next victim...one never knows.
chaosmonkey:
The wrist is a whole lot better after taking a break (camping and a busted computer). I may need to do more for it, like, say, drink some beer, but I'm good at the moment.

Good luck with the baby doc. I've ehard some weird things, but like most weird things they took place in Texas.

Kinda bummed out today.. Alexis and I became really good friends with a couple and they're moving to Denver tomorrow. It's a good move for him but still kinda sucks.

In other exciting news, I took a nap a little while ago.. There's something nice about a nap on a lazy Sunday afternoon.

B
martyr13:
amen to the nappin man nothin like sunday beer and gettin your nap on...check you online bob...have a good one.....make that beer for every one to imbibe...you truely make the world a better place.
requiem:
My brother is going to dump me off somewhere in Indiana on Sunday. I'm still not exactly sure where I'll pick up the Studebaker, but hopefully it'll be somewhere in your neck of the woods...
