I did the same thing one day as a little bugger, I was shooting liitle fluffy birdies w/ a bee-bee gun and it was only stunning them. Then I shot one and it killed it, I felt so so so bad from then on I only shot my buddys with the bee-bee gun (of course with only a few pumps so it would only sting, ha, boys being boys).
