Today I received word the man I entrusted/sold my bus to a month ago has already broken it. Took him two weeks to do what three of us couldn't in five years.
He's convinced it'd be too much trouble to fix (I'm semi-inclined to agree), so he's looking for a new one with *shudder* an AUTOMATIC!!! Real busses have a 4 or 5spd stick with... Read More
Went to Luna, got tipsy, ate some greasy goodness at National, went home, passed out.
Saturday:
Went to Luna, drank a bit, kept an eye on the crew, went home, passed out.
Sunday:
Went to Berkley, perused Harmony House's dwindling CD selection, bought Floodland by Sisters of Mercy and elva by unwritten law, went to Rider's Hobby Shop to... Read More
I'll tell Matheny you said Hello....Yeah hes in SC going crazy...I'm going to go visit him probably next month sometime...I was so shocked to see someone on this site that i actually know...This is so cool....I remember passing out at that frat house after drinking a almost an entire 5th of absolute..That bus was awesome....Anyways....Maybe we can get together sometime and hang out...Until then....
So you know what that means...off to Royal Oak I go. But first I must swing by Harmony House Berkley to pick up some music. Maybe. If they have it. If anything that side trip will waste some time.
{update}
It's Saturday!
Yes, once again I didn't make it to Berkley. Tomorrow for sure! Maybe. If I get up in time.
GR is! Realitivly speaking, of course. Unfortunately, too far away from work, though at times I'm tempted to make the commute every morning. Something about the Lake Shore keeps me in Michigan at all...I think I should be in a bigger city very soon. I guess I'll have to retire in the country.
that's where I'm looking. There or Holland. Holland is better because no bridge into Grand Haven. Still in Ottawa county though, with their fucked-up politics and liqour laws.
As you heard, Friday night was spent in Grand Haven enjoying The Vertigo Poets with Les, mikeymorphin, Bathory, X, and Sabine. An awesome time was had by all into the wee hours of the morning. One had such a good time she just had to post about it--and promptly passed out in mid-post.
Friday was the usual trek to Royal Oak. Not very memorable, Panzermensch got drunk so he pounded his head against the wall repeatedly, Pokey & Mom stopped by, Kompressor did indeed dance (3 times at that ), and alcohol was consumed. Oh, and the origins of "Detachable Penis" were pondered.
Ug.. my ears are bleeding from that fucking place. Like I said before and I'll say it again. The next time I feel the urge to go to City Club, I'll just burn my $4 instead. What a fucking waste. Back to banging my head on the wall...
What showing were you at?
I was at the 7:00 on Saturday.
When we got out, the line was halfway around the block! Hope you didn't have to stand in that!
Since I'm a sucker for cop shows, I'm watching "Third Watch" right now.
Tomorrow it's "NYPD Blue", Wednesday is "Law & Order", Thursday is "CSI", and Friday--uhh, well--there isn't one. Not like it matters, Friday & Saturday nights are spent away from the TV.
Oh, and Sunday is "Law & Order: Criminal Intent".
Yep, cop shows. A guaranteed hit for the American TV-viewing public.
Ahh, overtime. Good for the pocket, bad for the spirit--especially when it's unscheduled OT. 12-6 today I got to watch a computer screen, fill out the appropriate paperwork at the appropriate time, fix a leak, rinse, repeat...
Bah!. Yet another swap meet missed--this one (relatively) in my backyard!
In other news, I missed Bruce Campbell at the Saturday showings of Bubba Ho-Tep. Oh well,... Read More
