Tonight is "Layer Casserole & Basic Instinct Night".
A fine combination, if I do say so myself.
In other news, I picked up the rest of my truck's parts today. Here's hoping a Pitman arm for a '69 C20 fits a '67 (it should, but Chevrolet did tweak a few parts during the 1967-72 model run). *crosses fingers*
A nice long relaxing nap is good every now and then. I had lots of good food and lots of good drinks for memorial day then I passed out for a very long sleep.
I just spent the past 22 hours rebuilding the lower half of my truck's front suspension. Parts that have been together for 38 years would rather stay together, not matter how much cajoling/hammering you may do.
Of course it doesn't help when the book says one thing yet your truck has a completely different setup. That two piece steering knuckle sure threw me for a... Read More
There have been some interesting occurrences these past few days. Very interesting. So interesting, in fact, I'm going to break with tradition & not say any meaningful words about these occurrences and just keep rambling on and on and on and on...
I will say this: the trek to Toronto is looking less & less likely as the days... Read More

Bigger than the one they threw in 1929 for the Ten Millionth Car (a Buick).

why is it that games are so addicting like that ... can totally lose track of time ... would suggest to look for more hoppy beers (which pilsners aren't) ... that might go with the flat tire you liked ... and the beast does not equal mr. urquell, it would be much closer to iron city
The wedding was indeed all I feared/hoped it would be.
One, I got there half-an-hour late to find it had been moved south of Grand Haven. Fifteen minutes later, I arrive at the new location. The wedding had already started, so I stood off to one side until the bride was at the altar.
Did I mention this was an outdoor wedding? An outdoor wedding... Read More
In honor of that occasion, I am preparing a pork loin for dinner. Pork loin garnished with garlic, rosemary, basil, and oregano. Of course, what meat dish would be complete without a vegetable? One must have a vegetable (if not two) with one's complete protein.
That said, I'm having TWO: potatoes & onions. It's a... Read More
