Might be dropping in and out, things are going well lately nothing to exciting but I'm on the right track for where I want to be.

It's Monday and I'm taking the day off to wait at home for my new couch. Mondays are pretty god damn cool when you don't have to go into work.

Had to take the day off work today feel like crap after the weekend. The only good thing about working a lot as a sys admin is being able to take a day off when you want cause you can telecommute from home. If I could only do that everyday.

I hear you man, unfortunately for me, I DID marry my ex when she got knocked up and I'm still trying to get that finished off.
Have you talked to a lawyer about the whole situation? I wouldn't write off your ability to get custody unless a lawyer tells you to forget it, I've heard of people being awarded custody when they've proven that they are and have been a stable parent and the biological parent is.....shall we say, less than stable.
By the way, it's rule of thumb around here to post a reply to someone in their journal unless it's on the boards, I only saw this because I couldn't remember who you were when I saw you on my list of comments so I came back to remind myself.
Whatever else happens, I wish you the best in your situation.

Yeah, that's where more of the similar stories come into play. My ex now lives in Florida with her folks and my daughter. She just screwed me out of getting to see my daughter last month and only admitted to it this week when I called her on it, up until now she's claimed medical bullshit was the reason. She keeps giving me false hope saying she's gonna move back here and she sometimes seems to be acting decent, but then the evilness starts showing and it just strengthens my resolve to do all I can to take care of my daughter myself.
