things outside of work are...rather peaceful. I'm generally so dead after work my social life consists of spending a few hours watching tv or messing around on the internet and passing out...or my weekends are doing work in my yard and running around to take care of errands I couldn't be troubled with during the week for. lol.

None of my friends are really home from school so I more or less just tend to my cats and try to keep myself entertained as best I can.

And yes I was at work all this week. I just needed to not have my head get smashed around for a few days. lol. Second day I was back working I wound up back at the house where I fell, and the one contractor walks up with an envelope addressed to "Our Dearest Walter" lol. A get well soon card from all my "friends at the Graham Job" lol

Work is still kinda blah because it's stressful and aggravating, and I don't like having to think much. I really don't. I need a job where I don't have to think or be creative, or exert myself physically. That would be my ideal job. Instead I'm exerting myself a great deal at work both physically and mentally. lol...I'm a ball of contradictions..

Honestly? I got the concussion tuesday before last, I was out on that wednesday-friday. took the weekend also. went back last monday. So I had 5 days of being on the mend. I wasn't feeling all that amazing, but I managed the week out.

Hair looks Awesome!!!...And your note isn't a bitch fest at all...I actually know exactly how you feel, on occasion especially during the holidays I have to work overnights, not only am I a zombie...I like my sleep without any interruption, or else it just ruins shit and makes things unpleasant for me...Oh, and all that talk about other girls and stuff like that, guys just do that in the hope that it makes you miss them more or to make you feel insecure or jealous...yeah...

my first week at work was a cluster-fuck, to be blunt.

My first day started off pretty good...ended with me using a jackhammer for about 3 hours to tear apart a concrete floor in this guy's basement so we could start digging out the rocks and dirt...so that we could lay down some drain pipes and whatnot for a bathroom they want put in.

My second day...I was shoveling dirt, rock, and concrete again. Carrying them upstairs and tossing them into the boss's truck so we could throw them out. That more or less went on all day. I was sore to begin with, I could barely move by that night.

Wednesday, nothing I did was good enough, fast enough, or right at all.

Thursday...more of the same.

I think at one point I wound up removing a toilet on wednesday or thursday, and managed to get all the water out of it...tipped it up to make sure...got within 2 feet of the door after carrying the fucking thing down the stairs...and having water fly out the fucking thing right there. Tile floor though, so it wasn't too bad. Boss was pissed.

Friday called out sick, I didn't feel well to be honest, but in theory I probably could've gone to work.

This week...has been better though. I'm still a world class fuck up as far as my boss is concerned but I'm not anywhere near as bad as I was last week in his eyes I think.

I hope you get to do all kinds of fun stuff before you head back this direction. I bet it's beautiful over there right now. I would love to see cherry blossom season, but just don't have the funds for that kind of travel right now.

Kitty will be fine. Microchips are a great idea and will help keep him even safer. Perhaps your vet would be willing to give him some kind of relaxant in order to prevent him from freaking out on the way back or afterwards.

Wow indeed. I'm not sure how to cope with all the life changes all at once. So I feel you with all your life changes coming up again. It's a complicated messy time indeed.

heh. AH...yeah I'm waiting for my friend to come home for a day or so on her spring break so I can see her...it's been about a berjilion years since I saw her. (and actually I had lost her number for 2 years before I googled her lame ass) ;-)

Wound up going to a charity basketball game that my friends were competing in. "Books vs. Badges" Teachers, custodial staff, and administrators vs. the town's police. Third year they've done it. Second time the cops have won. :-( it was a good game all in all though. final score was 46-40 cops.

I am on the lookout for jobs though. making calls and all that unpleasant stuff. I hate looking for a job. I just like being employed. *shrug*

And...yeah we tried leashes outside they don't work that well. now I just sit outside with my cats running around as they please. My only goal is to make sure they don't get into someone else's yard, or get the crap kicked out of them by a stray. Otherwise I just leave them alone and let them wander, hunt, and play. They enjoy it, and it lets me sleep through the night. lol

It's really good that you are picky about getting a tattoo and who does it. It's going to be there for the rest of your life. I'd be pretty picky too! (I do love makeup by the way.) And that cake looks far too cute to eat.

yeah I'm more or less fine. the burn was the result of my not paying attention to my partner in class for a few minutes. He listens to half a set of instructions before he does something. I told him I was going to take the zone valves off of a stretch of pipe, and that he should get a torch, solder, a bucket of water and a starter and take the pipes apart after I was done.

He started while I was still taking the valves off. Forgot the bucket of water, so he started laying the VERY hot pieces of copper on the table I was working on. I didn't notice, leaned on the table...and sizzle. heh.
