What a shame that the teen girl has turned to the same coping mechanisms her mother used to deal with her problems - many no doubt stemming from the loss of that mother. My condolences and best wishes for a thorough recovery for her.

Sorry for being so incognito: I've been too busy as usual but that's still no excuse. In a few weeks when I am back in town for a minute I need to host a get-together for the group - maybe a housewarming party, since I think it's about time to move.

Yeah, the serial killers add to the charm. Ted Bundy was caught in my town, and we're the home of 'The Black Widow' [the female serial killer who would marry men, get in their wills for all their cash and then have them murdered] and one of my best friends just got sentenced to life for murdering a friend of his. I think it's the heat that gets to everybody and sets them on a murdering rampage.
