Overheard at LAX before my trip to Austin:
Teen girl to her friend: "If I have another Vicodin, do you think I'll be OK to drink tonight?"
----------------------------------------------------------------------
So, in other news it's my birthday next week. I have no money and am in debt, so nothing crazy like Vegas will be happening...indeed, I'm not sure what I'll be doing, who with or where. Which...

So, the trip to Austin went well. Both the meeting and greeting of a new creative team, but the drinking afterward. Finally got out to Sixth street and dammit if that isn't the coolest place I've been to in a long while. The area is dotted with cool, eclectic, divey little spots with great food, cheap drinks and nice people. It really did seem possible...

aw...Puffin...
So, the past few weeks have been spent working quite a bit. We spent many, many hours working on a proposal for a huge project...huge, I tell you huge! As a result, worry and long sleepless nights have been the result. Wow, what a terrible sentence. Oh, well.
This Friday finds me and the boss flying down to Austin, TX to meet on the sequel...

Austin's a ton of fun; if you have time check the local music listings. In other words, what 730A_trixel_fem said.
Have a good time!
Have a good time!
So, Trixel is gone. How wonderful was it being with her this past month? Well, when I got home from dropping her off at LAX and saw her ubiquitous hat sitting on my chair...I blubbered. Decidedly unmanly, but what the heck. Life is for the living and if it hadn't gone as well as it had I wouldn't feel that crummy. So, now I pine....

Blubbering at hats is very manly.

So what did you get at Amoeba? I forgot to ask you last night.

My love in LA :-)
So...I'm lazy. So, I will simply steal 730A_Trixel_Fem's last journal as it applies lock, stock and barrel to my goings on. Two things of note: Bowling tomorrow for those of you who are in LA...please come on by.
And to the people who keep mysteriously dropping off my friends list...I do care...I'm just preoccupied with loving my woman right.
Aside from a large quantity...

you are doing exactly as you should - taking good care of yr lady friend. wishing you so many more days of love and leisure.
So, this past week wasn't as good as the first in that I got sick. Wonderfully hideous chest congestion/flu stuff. So, 730A_Trixel_Fem got to nurse me and comfort me and see me as the miserable, annoying sick person I am. We were also housesitting 4 cats, so she being allergic to cats is now also horking up a lungfuls of cat hair. We are just...

Hi, howyadoin' ?
Coupla days ago I logged into SG to find my beloved (but neglected) group Pinball Wizards had been deleted. I'd been busy with some other stuff and didn't really think about taking any tactical precautionary measures to make it look like anybody cared about it.
Well, I guess the SG protocol on inactive groups goes along the lines of if it dwells on the 20th page for an extended length of time, the liklihood of getting the axe increases.
So anyways, Spookshow Graveyard is on the 20th page and it's been there awhile... It would be a crying shame to lose it. (BTW- the last comment is dated 4/28, the last comment in my group before it was canned was 4/16)
If, by chance, you've grown weary of keeping it going purely on your efforts alone (and I know what that's like- believe me), please let me know. I'd be more than happy to pick up the torch and run with it, as I now have a gaping hole in my life where my own group used to be.
Thanks and Be Well.

Oooh, tell me all about E3!
So, it's been just over a week now with 730A_Trixel_Fem and it's all quite wonderful. I love her very much and we've laughed and had fun and done fun things.

Mr. Surly you got E-mail. Let me know what's up with the Bowling idea. I'm down for that.

Okay, I'm sorry ... I meant 5/14. But wouldn't it be great if we could travel back in time?
So, I need to post more here, but work has kept me busy. (And yes, my sad WoW addiction counts.)
However, there are some very cool things afoot on the work horizon. I shan't jinx them, but if they happen...wow...it would boggle the mind.
(Seriously.)
And 730A_Trixel_Fem will be here on Saturday! Dammit, I must clean again! Quickly!

OOOh I like your puffin picture
So, another week has flown by. It was a busy one and I'm going to be working most of the weekend. I feel a little dazed by it all. It's just going to get busier, which I suppose is good.
730A_Trixel_Fem will be here in two weeks. I'm excited and nervous and glad and starting to worry, because I want it to go well. And...

Question of the Day (this really happened, from my son):
Do you think there is a real life MacGyver? One who knows how to move boulders with just water from a fire extinguisher while having an arm in a sling?
Now if this question was from my 6 year old ...
Instead, it was from my 23 year old. And now I'm thinking about it. I guess I overthink, too, but the worry part is optional.

So, I haven't updated in awhile...many things whirling around...however in the interest of disclosure I will say this:
I have in the past had--and yes, fine, enjoyed--things in my ass in a sexual context. However, having just returned from doing my taxes, I will say I have never been bent over and taken anything in the ass quite that large before. I don't like it...

I think the government has made it a little difficult for us all to sit down at one time or another. I hope your anus (and your wallet) heal soon. Oh yeah I don't think the government knows what lubricant is.
So, the past week has been pretty busy. Last Sunday my friend had a screening for the episode of 'Crossing Jordan' he wrote. It was cool for him and he named the Security Chief of Logan airport after me...so that's pretty neat.
