i don't think there is a difference between university and college. i think that in the united states, "university" is designated for colleges which also house masters degree programs.
i went to kenyon college. 'tis a four year college in rural ohio which has one of the best english departments in the country. very highly acknowledged school amongst those in the know (very tiny school, about 1,500 kids).
i also aplied to colgate university, where i also got in. which is a small (but not kenyon small, about 2,200 kids) in rural new york state.

no difference, really.

CD prices, oy, tell me about it. There's a chain called CD Plus that you may have heard of. Their prices and selection are quite good, though HMV has them shut out of the bigger markets. I made a couple of pilgrimages to the Kingston location when I was at Queen's last year.

I agree that a love for musical theatre is quite defensible if you've actually been involved in it! Nightowl and I met in a preduction of "Grease" and started dating during a production of "Oklahoma." So we are all musical theatre geeks and we should be proud of it!

I got a copy of Superunknown before I got Badmotorfinger. Not that it's a bad album I just don't listen to it that often when compared to Superunknown. The thing I dislike the most about the song "Somewhere" is that annoying intro. Oh well, to each their won.
