So today I started doing research on volunteering while I'm in China. I NEVER would have thought that it would cost me almost 2 grand to volunteer for a month. 
I think I'd be further ahead to wander into some remote village and offer my services to a farmer, or something.. or anything!! If anyone has any info on organizations, or groups that take volunteers for free, let me know.
