I got home from work at 5:30, ate dinner, started working again at 6:30 (plopped in front of my computer) and didn't stop until 12:30.

if only the world was a tv show, and the story lines were merely fictional, as opposed to sadly too realistic, out of control, and diabolical. fortunately, it doesn't seem like the producers at fox have been successful in altering the characters and/or personalities of the people i know and love, or the plot points where they intersect with me.
but, i'm constantly afraid that if i watch too much tv i'll suddenly realize: (a) that all of our heads of state are really the singing rodents with undulating eyes on those new Quizmo's commercials, (b) that i'm a guest on the mclaughlin report, and everybody's pointing while the host yells "YOU'RE WRONG" at me or, (c) that i'm having a wardrobe malfunction...turning what could have been a delightful summer comedy into the newest horror blockbuster.
