Scored a couple of passes to a Kerry rally at OSU tomorrow where Springsteen is performing a song or two! After that, I'm heading to my parents' for Beggars Night. I am looking forward to it. There will be pizza, Baileys & coffee, and hot chocolate & peppermint Schapps! smile

And get this? I only just e-mailed out some resumes and cover letters last night, and...

Awesome, good luck on the job!

Yeah, I'm rooting for Kerry as well. I don't know what the hell to make of things under Bush, especially since my longtime bosom buddy Nintendo decided to become snarky. surreal

No, I worked, couldn't go. And right now I'm not exactly keen on keeping company with others.

The new Outland will be open in January, according to plans.

Yeah, I think the way I'm getting buttfucked at work has given me a fresh boost of motivation to be more proactive about my Job Search. So I found about a dozen more leads online this evening, as well as a couple of places to seek career counseling.

I've added some photos, so please feel free to have a look. Also, if you need a...

I've had a really rough go of it at work this week.

I've been pounding the pavement to no avail for some time now. It's very discouraging, depressing, and frustrating. I've combed though the local job posting countless times, and I've tried networking, too. I've given several copies of my resume to people I know who know lots of people. I've even looked at temp...

I'm still around, but too tired and out of it to post anything at the moment. Greetings to FortySix and Alisa (Hey! A true Suicide Girl in Columbus! Kewl!!)

Meh, fuck it! I was dismayed to see the headlines in the newspaper machines as I walked into the office today.
"Bush Has 8 Point Lead" on USA Today, and "Al-Zarqawi Aligns with Bin Laden" on...

I just made a couple of posts on the Radiohead Junkies group in hopes that someone will drop by and say hello. But further to a comment made by Trees2112 on a thread he won some kind of award for resurrecting,

YES, I CAN FART ON COMMAND!

Ah! A nice, lazy Saturday afternoon with an overcast sky. I LOVE overcast skies! A friend of mine is into psychics, past lives and that. I don't know if I am, though if I had an extra $100 lying around I most certianly would NOT blow it on a psychic reading! *Piss break*

Anyway...my love of overcast...

My boyfriend got me a gift membership to SG a few weeks ago, but I've only just gotten round to doing my profile. I've been otherwise engaged in things like a JOB SEARCH. I've had a few promising prospects, but no offers. It's been very frustrating and discouraging.

I've decided to step back a moment to reevaluate my goals and focus on the "inside job",...

Anyway...my love of overcast skies is one thing that convinces me that I must have been British in a past life. A rainy day, sitting by the window with a good cup of tea, reading Harry Potter...Oooooh yeah!! This is the life! I love this time of year, too. The fall foliage is SO BEAUTIFUL, and the gas stations have Pumpkin Spice cappucino! Mmmm!

Well, in a couple of hours, I'll be taking a walk down to Borders to meet a very good friend for a spot of coffee. (Pumpkin Spice Chai pour *moi*!)
