w00t!

The witnesses didn't show up on Monday or something, so no trial. Which means no jury duty. Justice is served.

I think most Libs aren't intelligent, original or lucid enough to form a cogent anti-religion stand point.

Most do have an idea of which side of the fence to stand. The group think and reflex antipathy towards anything they see as vaguely traditional morality sets them on an autopilot course against it.

Contradictions, gaps in reasoning and double standards are bound to become obvious when one's reasoning is essentially just based on hatred of America, Bush, Israel, religion....or whatever other identikit issues one picks up from the rest of the herd.
crispy:
So you consistently spout off about the American process, and yet you're thrilled enough about getting out of jury duty to journal about it?

You never fail to confound me.

Jury duty today, yuck puke Haven't had it in 12 years. All I remember is boredom, people explaining to the judge why they can't be there, the judge not giving a shit about their problems, and the lawyers asking personal questions in jury selection. I hope they reject me.

Damn. I'm sorry.

Kerry paid Bob Shrum millions of dollars to give him bad advice. For a fraction of that, I'd be willing to consult Kerry on how not to be an utter douchebag in hopeless dream to become president. Read this.

He's so deluded! Sure he could do best by apeing whatever Hillary does, since she's got a clue. But Kerry's biggest asset is that he...

Imagine, if you will, someone who read only Readers Digest between 1950 and 1970, and someone in the same period who read only The Nation or The New Statesman. Which reader would have been better informed about the realities of Communism? The answer, I think, should give us pause. Can it be that our enemies were right?

Fixed the radiator last month (which was pretty damn easy), and now the alternator goes out mad So now I have a battery-powered car which I have to constantly recharge. At least I hope it's not the alternator. I'm going to test the circuits and check the wiring to see if anything came loose when I pulled the radiator. If I'm lucky, that's all it is.

Mideast Climate Change

It's not even spring yet, but a long-frozen political order seems to be cracking all over the Middle East. Cautious hopes for something new and better are stirring along the Tigris and the Nile, the elegant boulevards of Beirut, and the...
